The Azteeg X3 is a full featured, easy to use 3D printer Electronics powered by the reliable and powerful Atmel ATMEGA2560 micro controller.The X3 is designed with excellent high current capability to run most 3D printer configurations including those with dual extruders and large, power hungry heated beds.. Will work with Prusa Mendel, Mendel Max, Ordbot, Printrbot and most 3D printers.

We've combined the RAMPS and the Arduino Mega into one sleek package, added lots of cool stuff, beefed up power handling and made the Azteeg X3 pin to pin compatible with the popular RAMPS controller. This means you can use it right out of the box. Compatible with all mainstream reprap 3D printer firmwares including SPRINTER, MARLIN, REPETIER and others.

The X3 has a removable top shield to physically protect its parts which also doubles as an expansion board. Printing via micro SD card is now easier with the built-in microSD slot and also has built in buzzer.

I've been trying to get in touch with support for months.  They don't have a phone number, no forum, won't respond to emails or trouble tickets.

DISSAPOINTED February 29, 2016

It`s the second board I buy and I'm having the same problem.
With the second Azteeg x3 the problem repeats.
After two weeks working REALLY fine, suddenly the LCD of the VIKI went white and the extruder stepper motor stopped moving. (just the extruder motor)
With the test code uploaded, the motors (move including the extruder motor)
I've been working with that compilation of marlin for weeks, so the compilation is OK.
The stepper drivers are OK (SD8825), every pin of them receives signal and they move with the test code compiled.
I changed the pins in marlin to use the second extruder driver but it does not move.
When connecting to repetier, the extruder motor does not move.
There is an electronic issue but no answer from support center

I upgraded from my chinese Ramps to the Azteeg X3 because I thought this was a good product. Not really happy with the change, that's for sure!

Not happy wasting some hundred dollars on a board I can not use.

My best board out of 4 boards of my experience. June 26, 2015

I tried RAMPS 1.4 (* 5 times failure), Melzi Ardentissimo, PrintrBoard Rev B, and this.

Is my first time to use non A4988/A4982 series controller... much quiter and smoother, astonished!

I was suffered from random motor driver short many times, but this board seems quite rigid. There were serveral eletric surge and all the others were dead, but this alive!

It was a little expensive compared to other 4 boards, and it's worth to experience..
Finally I'm happy with it now.

I've been very happy with this board, although trying to get things like LED strips and fans, etc, working using the D4, D5, D6, D11 pins has proven impossible to work out.

Nice Board Build and Design April 14, 2015

Great board.  I had to revert Arduino Studio to 1.0.6 (not latest) in order to work with bootloader.

Great with the new VIKI LCD 2.0, but was challenging to get working.
